BeautyintheEveryday

The object of this blog is to deliver a space for beauty in the mundane. To remind you (and me) to focus on the beauty in front of us or beauty we can create out of nothing and it can’t exactly articulate how to arrive at that state.  It can provide relevant examples or suggestions. In the information age of sharing, filters and the like, how do you see beauty in the things that are present before you?

Beauty can be about remembering how a lost loved one did or said, how they said it and sharing that with a friend or colleague. Beauty can be simply remembering a new traffic light was installed closer to the highway at which you can make an easier left. Beauty can be taking a deep breath of lavender and white sage as you step up to the spa counter to check in. What about that first taste of food after a really bad head cold? Beauty can be helping to support others, teaching or volunteering to make a difference in others’ lives.

Beauty is yours to see. There’s no right or wrong answer. We are all given the same gift, imagination, and it’s absolutely free to use. And by all means, if roses are handy, stop and smell them, too!

Be well, friends!
